Aaron is a freelance photographer living in Bigfork, Montana. His work is informed by the spirit and the history of the American West. He is a storyteller who takes a documentary approach to fly fishing, hunting and conservation, as well as lifestyle and branding photography.

While based in northwest Montana, his work has taken him across the state, and the northern Rockies region, and as far as Mexico and Cuba.

His work has been featured in The New York Times, ProPublica, and The Guardian and he has worked with commercial clients such as YETI Cooler, Orvis, Hardy Fly Fishing, and COSTA Sunglasses.

He is an alumni of the Eddie Adams Workshop XXXVII and was selected to participate in the New York Times Portfolio Review in April, 2025.
