Aaron is a freelance photographer living in Whitefish, Montana. His work is informed by the spirit and the history of the American West.

While based in northwest Montana, his work has taken him across the state, and the northern Rockies region, and as far as Mexico and Cuba.

Recent commissions have included Esquire Magazine, The New York Times, The Wall Street Journal, POLITICO, The New Republic, ProPublica, and The Guardian and he has worked with commercial clients such as YETI Coolers, Orvis, Hardy Fly Fishing, Seager, and COSTA Sunglasses.

He is an alumni of the Eddie Adams Workshop XXXVII, was selected to participate in the New York Times Portfolio Review in April, 2025 and was awarded a merit scholarship to attend the Chico Review in 2026.
